Paper on character displacement and ecological sorting is out in JEB!

Figure 4 in Eisen and Geber 2018 in Journal of Evolutionary Biology . The differences between some pairs of Clarkia are larger where the species co-occur relative to where they occur alone, which is consistent with character displacement.

A few months ago, my first dissertation chapter was published in the Journal of Evolutionary Biology!

In this study, we used data on species co-occurrence patterns and species traits in a common garden to assess whether Clarkia communities may be structured by ecological sorting or character displacement.
